On Thursday, November 23rd, the live discussion entitled “Love & Marriage” by Society Uncensored took place at the Upper Stage of the Onassis’ Foundation, with the active participation of the audience as its main feature. The event was also attended by the Director of Cryogonia Dr. Lina A. Evgeni (being herself a Foundation Fellow). Married and unmarried people participated in an open discussion about the prejudices, concerns and tensions related to the institution of marriage, seeking at the same time to recognize and explain the reasons why people nowadays walk up the stairs of the Church or even the Town Hall. Is it still a relic of other times or is it a reference point for family formation for both heterosexual and same-sex couples? Cryogonia, in its turn and without discrimination, supports the efforts of all people to create a family, with the central vision of actively contributing to the improvement of conditions that will allow more and more people to experience the joy of having a child, regardless of whether this is done in the context of marriage or civil partnership.
