Dr Lina Evgeni
Director – Reproductive Biologist, M.Phil University of Nottingham U.K., Ph.D Democritus University of Thrace
Dr. Lina A. Evgeni is a Reproductive Biologist, specialized in the analysis and cryopreservation of sperm and testicular tissue, with many years of experience in the evaluation and preservation of male fertility.
She graduated from the Department of Biology of the School of Sciences of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, in which she was admitted first among the candidates of her year.
She then studied by scholarship at the Medical School of the University of Nottingham in Great Britain, from which she obtained a Master’s degree (M.Phil), under the supervision of Prof. Simon Fishel, pioneer of in vitro fertilization and inventor of the SUZI (Sub zonal Insemination) method.
During her postgraduate studies, she was trained in the andrology laboratory of England’s leading hospital Queen’s Medical Center, in the techniques of basic and functional semen parameters evaluation, as well as in the applications of sperm and testicular tissue cryopreservation.
She is a PhD holder from the Department of Medicine of the Democritus University of Thrace and a research associate of the Postgraduate Studies Course entitled ‘Human Reproduction’, in which she participates since its commencement, with lectures and practical laboratory training workshops.
She has been working since 1995 in the field of Laboratory Seminology, as a founding member and director of the andrology laboratory of the largest and first certified sperm bank in Greece. She is head of the quality assurance system, in collaboration with the External Quality Control program of ESHRE (European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology).
Scientific staff
The scientific staff of CRYOGONIA are well-trained Biologists specialized in the field of Laboratory Seminology. Their postgraduate studies have been effectuated in well-known Greek and European Universities achieving Master’s and / or doctoral degrees. All the laboratory members participate in a strict system of Internal Quality Control, which requires, among other things, their continuous training and evaluation of good laboratory practice.
Administrative staff
The people of CRYOGONIA are distinguished for their dedication, professionalism, perfect coordination and teamwork. Their guide in client service is social sensitivity and the awareness that it correlates with the most sensitive part of the people to whom our services are provided, thus achieving the best results.
The Administrative personnel of CRYOGONIA include carefully selected people, trained in the field of customer service and communication, with many years of experience in positions of organization, management and support of public relations departments.
Ioanna Grigoriou
Deputy Director Human Operations Executive Officer
Graduate of St. George College, Department of English-Greek Executive Secretarial and Administration Course for Personal Assistants (P.A.s), with many years of experience in n the field of Administrative Support for multinational companies. Certified Executive Assistant since 2015 and a member of Cryogonia team since 2018 as Human Operations Executive, responsible for planning and implementing people-centric strategy, public service and coordination between the company’s separate departments. She is a member of the Internal Quality Control system of the ‘CRYOGONIA’ Cryopreservation Bank, according to the specifications of the international standard EN15224: 2012.
Eleni Pardalaki
Human Operations & Public Relations Manager
Graduate of the Department of Production Management of Private Educational Institution AKMI, with 30 years of experience in Human Resources management and expertise in creating positive relations with the general public. Member of Cryogonia team since 2022 as Public Relations Executive and Personal Assistant to the CEO. Member of the Internal Quality Control system of Cryogonia Sperm Bank, in accordance with the specifications of the ΕΝ15224:2017 standard.
