In her talk, she addressed the modern view of semen analysis in the light of the new WHO guidelines, the differences between 5th and 6th edition regarding modern methodological laboratory protocols, the new laboratory analyses applied in order to more effectively investigate functional disorders of male sperm and the new reference limits for basic spermatological parameters, validated by the inclusion of expanded international populations of fertile men, including Greeks, who had been studied by the laboratory of Cryogonia.
