From 30 April to 4 May 2014, the 1st Science and Innovation Festival took place at Technopolis, entitled ‘Science in our everyday life’. The Athens Science Festival was organized under the auspices of the Municipality of Athens and aimed to unlock the ‘mysteries’ of our everyday life and to introduce the general public to scientific issues in a simple and understandable way. The Sperm Bank ‘Cryogonia’ was present with the participation of its scientific director, Mrs. Lina Evgeni, member of the Alexander S. Onassis Foundation’s Association of Scholars, at the Café Scientifique on the topic: ‘Male Infertility – The role of male sperm in reproduction’.
