The publication of a contemporary scientific book entitled “Human Semen Analysis: from the WHO Manual to the Clinical Management of Infertile Men” was recently announced by Springer-Nature. Dozens of renowned scientists and experts in the field, from 20 countries, contributed to the writing of the book’s chapters. Among them was the Director of Cryogonia Dr. Lina A. Evgeni, who participated by analyzing the clinical significance of sperm motility. This book bridges the gap between laboratory textbook theory and clinical practice by analyzing and explaining the indications of the tests, interpretation of the results, and decision making regarding male infertility. It is a valuable guide for both clinicians and laboratory scientists, linking semen analysis to the clinical management of male infertility cases.
